Congrats to the South Somerset committee and helpers for persevering at West Kennet under difficult conditions. Last weekends meeting was a long way from home for many yet the club put in a long day and a great show with three excellent blocks of racing. Perhaps we all need to think out of the box to solve this marshalling problem!

Good news about Jake, we really hope to see him on his bike again soon. Thanks for your comments on Marshalls, I agree with you, we are really trying very hard to make a go of this new direction with MCF, and have had quite alot of stick from other clubs for doing so, as a result we have been to soft on the marshalling but we cant go on like that ,at the moment the committee are doing far to much and we cant sustain it for to long. We need as much help from all the riders on marshalling and not excuses to get out of it. This club has a good team , help us to make this club the club it can be with MCF.Trying hard South Somerset.

Just on another note not so good and it's not the club fought, THE MARSHALLS, AS A CLUB YOU NEED TO BE STRAIGHT TO THE POINT WITH THEM NO MARSHALL NO RIDE IT'S SIMPLE, i would'nt think twice of going to another venue and not expect to do any thing, where are these people coming fromyou have had 2 meeting now if it's not nipped in the bud NOW it a'nt going to get better, let me at them and they will not walk over me ! there's no EXCUSE

Hello everyone,
For those that haven't been to Tiverton before, the map coordinates are N 50.91880 and W 03.41166. (For google maps, 050.918800, -003.411660) This will take you to the entrance to the field you turn into to get to the track.
I have similar coordinates for most of this years tracks and will try to post them in the guest book in the week prior to each race.

Hi Ross, the tracks on the fixtures list so far are confirmed, we are waiting for confirmation of the remaining tracks. Hi Char, an MCF one event licence ( day licence ) will cost you £10. A full annual MCF licence will cost you £25 for youth, £30 for adult. Many Thanks, South Somerset.

Hi Char thanks for your enquiry, I hope the press release posted on the website earlier today answers your question on Ty. The charity meeting on the 27th Dec is still on, you will be able to book in for this event nearer the time, keep an eye on the website.
Your question on licences, anyone can ride with us, MCF licence or not. If you do not have a MCF licence you will be able to buy a day licence just as you do at the moment. We ask for your licence details on the booking in page beause if you are a visitor it would be nice to know what licence you hold, which will make our admin easier on race days. was on the moto-magazine website last night where i saw on the news page that a charity meeting was beeing run for ty kellet.
was great to see thats your putting in great effort and supporting him to maximum at this time.
i saw the date was 6th december.
befor this though i kno there was a charity meeting planned on the 27th december.
has the 27th date been changed to the 6th ? or our you running two charity events now ?
and can u book in for this using the online booking in page ? (it does not say what meeting ur booking in for!)
also i heard that because now you have joined up to MCF
that you are unable to accept BSMA licence's?
but after looking at the booking in page when asking for licence number u have asked for what federation (MCF BSMA ECT)
So are you able to accept the bsma licence's ?

just spoke to josh ebbutt dad and it is great new josh is now home he still has the tpn line in for the moment.
he does not need a operation as the bruise has shrunk. he will have to go back in to have the line taken out
