South Somerset returned to action after a lengthy lay off due to the British weather, and hosted an excellent two-day event at Enmore.
The riders awoke Sunday morning to heavy rain and everyone thought the weather would intervene yet again. However, the rain stopped in time for the track to be in perfect condition and three blocks of great racing followed.

First out were the Open class and the AMX who raced together but were pointed separately. In the Open Class Luke Mellows had three classy race wins, followed by Tom Moore who had three runners up finishes and Chris Peppin joined them on the podium with three third places.
In the AMX Dave Anthony took two race wins and the overall, Luke Heaver was second overall with the remaining race win and a second and a third. Third overall went to Ben Griffiths with three consistent races.

Next up were the Rookies, and every club member watched Ty Kellett record his first win since his Weston Beach Race crash. Ty then went on to win the two remaining races and secure a much deserved overall. Rocky Letherby rode very well with two second places for second overall and the podium was rounded off by Henry Griffin.

The Big Wheels were next at the gate with Olly Jones taking the honours with three race wins. He was followed home twice by Josh Ebbutt who took second overall and Luke Sturgeon was third with a second and a brace of thirds.

The Small Wheels raced hard all day with Luke Williams emerging victorious with a first, second and a third. Micky Burfield was runner up with three consistent rides and Henry Ebbutt a good third. Todd Kellett was unlucky not to keep up with older brother Ty. He had two wins and a DNF with mechanical problems, thus dropping him out of the top six.

The Juniors were lead home every time by the stylish Bradley Flagg, Ryan Tanner was second overall with a fourth and two seconds and third place went to Jayden Murphy.

Last but by no means least, the autos tackled the demanding track and were all chasing Louis Townsend who had three race wins. Jack Scally and James Rowe tied on points for second with Jack taking the position on the last race decider, leaving James in third.
