  Elite League and Grand Slam.

As a newly affiliated MCF club South Somerset MX will also be included in the federation’s Elite Youth league, where a little like Speedway, MCF affiliated clubs are in direct competition between each other at selected events on a points scoring system throughout the year. The winning club of the Elite Youth League will win free insurance for 2011 as well as bragging rights of course!

How the Elite League and Grand Slam will work:

1, 40 club members will be randomly chosen by MCF, not only to ride for themselves with club champs but points they gain will go towards South Somerset's Elite League position. MCF will notify the selected riders during the week leading upto the event.

2, The nominated riders will change from one meeting to the next.

3, There will be eight Elite League meetings per season.

4, The top seven riders in South Somerset's Club Champs from each group (Auto to AMX) will qualify for the Grand Slam to represent South Somerset, this will be staged by MCF, expect the works!

5, Every member will have ridden for the club at some stage through the season, even if they don't qualify for the Grand Slam.

6, All members should book in as early as possible so MCF will have time to select you for the Elite League. Preferably the week before the event.
