2012 date’s.
All the above Club Champs dates will be Grand Slam Qualifiers and four will be in conjunction with South West MXC for the
West of England Youth MX Championship.
There will be 10 Club Champ rounds, you will be able to drop your 4 worst moto's
When you take out your MCF licence you need to put in the MCF club that you are joining. This will be the club that you will qualify for the Grand Slam and also the one that you will score Elite League points for. You can join as many MCF clubs as you like but can only qualify with one.
South Somerset’s Championship this year will be 10 rounds with the rider being able to drop their four lowest scoring moto’s.
You need to do all eight rounds of “The West of England Youth Motocross Championship” to qualify. If you intend to do this championship please register your intent on the West of England web site. There is no extra charge to do this championship for club members.
Transponders will be used at all West of England Events for 2012. We will be subsidising the hire of these for £5 only at these events. At all other SSMXC the hire charge will be £8. We hope long term that riders secure their own transponders as this would work out financially better for them and the club. We have subsidised their use so far so that all riders can appreciate the benefits of using them. We will be progressing further with timing solutions and ideas for this year, again being the leading youth motocross club in this area amongst other developments for the future.
The West of England Championship presentation will be held at South Somerset’s Championship presentation venue this year and with South West next year. This will rotate annually between clubs and next year will see the prospect of another club joining in “The West of England Youth Motocross Championship”.
If you have any questions please post them on the guest book and we will answer them.
